Brake Lines Rusting Away

I have a 97 GTP that has ruptured steel brake lines in 3 different places in the last 1 year. The line sections I pulled out are horribly corroded from the outside over a large fraction of their length. These lines frankly look like they came out of a 30 year old vehicle, not a 10 year old one.
Is anyone else seeing this?

I have a 97.5 GTP and have no rust on any part of the undercarriage. The reason why is I am in the Southwest. Do they salt or put chemicals on the roads in your state during the winter? The further North you get the worse rust and corrosion is. I've seen some real horror stories from our folks up in Canada.
The best thing to do is get the brake lines replaced since it is a potential safety problem.
