I have tail lights inop. on my `87 caprice classic and I can`t find any way to access the bulbs to change them. Tried gaining access through the trunk and under the rear bumper but no luck. Can someone tell me how to get to those bulbs.
Thanks.

When you open the trunk, you will see three Phillips-head screws in the fiberglass back section aiming down into where the taillights are. There are three per side (and two in the middle). The two in the middle give you access to the license plate light, and the three on each side - well you remove those and the top of each taillight assembly will lean out. Simply rotate the tops downward and pull the assemblies upward to remove them and gain access to the light bulbs.
Thanks.
