Disco clutch hydraulics

If it aint broke

Hi there,

My trusty old Disco has started to play up. The clutch hydraulics have bit the dust. I've changed the master and slave cylinders, bled the system, but the pedal is "slack" until approx an inch from the floor. It refuses to go any further. Checked out the usual failures (push-rod through release arm) but this appeared to be OK. Any suggestions?:shakehead

Is the clutch fork moving?

I had a similar issue once, the clutch fork had worn thin, was cracked and flexing rather than moving the release bearing.

Fixed it now - release fork was broken - cost wasn't too bad but a nightmare of a job!!
