Another "looking at a car" thread

Yup, another one of these all right. Okay, I found a car in my area that I'd like you guys to sound off on. I'm not serious yet, but I just might be in the near future.

1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP, Supercharged, 4dr, 110k mi, silver w/black Rally stripes w/black leather int, loaded, power moonroof, exc cond, $4,000 obo

Picture looks nice as well, havn't gone to see it in person yet or contacted the seller. I looked on kbb.com and the price is just about right.

If it's not been abused, that's not a bad deal. Check the owners maintenance records if he has them. Make sure the trans filter has been changed, the S/C isn't noisy, and that all the dash warning lights come on then go off a few seconds after the key is turned on (to ensure that the bulb wasn't removed to cover up a problem)

I got m 98gtp for 5,200. Was originally marked something like 6,500 but got them down. It has ram air hood, subtle afermarket flame job, 115k miles, every option including HUD (which is THESHIT) , and the supercharger was replaced at 110k... love the car... 4k seems pretty good.

Yeah, this guy didn't list the HUD, but I can see it in the pics. Alright, maybe I'll be a GTP driver sooner than I expected.

Love them and highly recomend them... beautiful car. Can't wait to mod it further!!!!!! cant wait to cai, headers, and exhuasut!!!!
