problem s-10 lowrider

I was wondering if any one might be able to help me i have a 86 s-10 2wd not running it seems like im not getting any fuel in the throttle body carb at all before it stalled out it kept stallling out and not wanting to start up it was like shaking real bad then you give it some gas then it would jump rpms real bad then it would stall out could it be the fuel filter or is it the fuel pump PLEASE HELP ME
