Which tires

I am looking for 225/40/18 tires. Want to get some low profile tires. They have to last only 3-5k miles max. Just until the winter hits then it is inside a heated garage till march.

I have been looking at the Nitto NEO Gen tires and the Falken ZE-512 as well.

These tures have to withstand some abuse but only have to last a few thousand miles. Then I will be purchasing some new ones next year.

Trying to stay around the $400 range for all 4 tires. Remember only have to last 3-5k miles.

Thanks
Ben

I just got some Goodyear eagle f1-GSD3. These things are awesome, very good traction dry or wet. I paid about $100 per tire but your size is going to be more i would think, but at least check them out.

I got some Falken RT-615s. There sick really well dry or wet. It feel like the car is super glued to the ground with these tires. The tread wear is only 200 so they will last at the most 4 months if that. kind of pricey thought.

Nitto NT555, a bit more expensive tire but they are AWESOME. I have a set of them on my 20's on my monte and they are a great tire.

I'd get some DOT drag radials from BFGoodrich.

Or you could just get one drag radial and then a baldy tire since you don't have a LSD.

But really, check Craig's list and just find the cheapest thing you can find. A friend of mine just got some 17" wheels/tires with 1,000 miles on them for $100 plus shipping.

I have these on my car now....225/40/18s and I love them....they are awesome on in dry conditions and in wet and are really sticky...this is what I would suggest....me and about 4 of my friends all run this tire and I dont think any of us will be changing anytime soon...

I do have an LSD

Well I guess that changes everything. I didn't see it on your mod list the first time. I hope you didn't just put it on there and you're trying to screw with me.

Go to www.sheptrans.com and look up FWD stage 2 transmission
That is the one I have, comes with an LSD

I'm familiar with the transmissions. I just overlooked it in your mod list. That's all.
