Quick wire question

Does anyone know what gauge the stock speaker wires are? I'm going to be wiring an amp with speaker level input, and if it's 12 gauge I'll just wire it to the back speakers instead of running a new wire.

I've never actually measured, bit it appears to be around 16ga.

You don't need 12 gauge for a speaker level input....16 gauge will be fine....run a 10 gauge or above for the power to the amp depending on amp size, but you will see no difference between 16 and 12 gauge on the speaker level input because it is a signal cable
