Thanks, The signal flasher unit is the place to start, I should have said signal flasher in the above post. If the flasher is good it's possible the hazard switch needs replacing or cleaning. You can check for a hazard switch problem by jumpering from terminal 7 to terminal 8 on the hazard flasher switch with a test lead. If the jumper clears the problem the hazard switch is the problem. Usually a turn signal switch wouldn't be bad in both directions. You may need a wiring diagram and something to check voltage, a cheap multimeter or a test lamp.
