My RL build sketch and first post :-)

Hey guys!
I recently got an old Volvo 121 as a present, and I decided that my first car restoration would not be a half assed try. Instead I did a quick sketch in Photoshop to see if I could come up with something more fun.
This is what I started out with:

There are some things I have changed since. The top is no longer a HT, but a white Carson top. and some other details are not the same.
This is what I changed:
Car lowered
Fins shaved off
Lights removed (still working on good lights)
Chopped top
Covered wheelwell
Chip Foose wheels (bad bad bad chop, didnt have a good pic)
Converted into 2door with stretched doors

Things that need to be improved:
Rear end feels a bit high, needs to be lowered in a way that doesnt ruin wheelwell
Front needs an overhaul for intakes + lights
Rear window needs some serious attention
Rear lights too
Need to add intake for supercharger

The top was photochopped by using warp which really really sucks (I said quick sketch :))
Its nice to have found a forum with so many great artists! It is extremely inspiring, and I feel that it will help tremendously in my hobby :)

Anyway im not much for this kind of custom, though what you did was really nice. The line bend follows through great with the top.

Yes i intend to make a 3d model, although I havent used my favorite 3d package in a long time. Ill try to keep u guys updated!

My father would love this! He used to have one till his
dumb*** brother rolled it drunk driving. He still buys
Volvos only.
