Just another rice kill

Same ol same ol ricer kill. Integra, all badged up as a Type R...like, five or six Type R badges, literally. Exhaust, gauges on the A-pod, fire extinguisher on the other side...its just nasty. Anyways, kinda got a decent pull against him last week, didn't waste my time posting about it, but I haven't had a nice kill post in a while, so meh.

I was just cruising, and I saw him again, decided to see if I could get him to go. Lined up at a red light, but there is a cop that sits in the parking lot next to the light, keeping an eye on everyone who comes through. We come off the light, and I'm pacing him. He punches it, and I do the same, dropping down into second. Go from 35ish up to 60, put about two-three lengths on him. Nothing all that great. Suprise suprise.

After that, I saw a coupla guys in a parking lot with a Z28, hood up, so I pull out, see if they need a hand. Ended up chilling with one of the guys for the rest of the night, guy who owned the Z28. SLP Lid, Long tubes, exhaust, cutout (broken electric, so its stuck open, lol), probably a Cam, Stall, and MT DRs. Oh, he also had a 125shot, lol. It was nice, loud as hell, loved riding in it. We took it out to the other spot where we race, where some Honda boys were gonna run a 3KGT VR4.

Guy with the VR4 runs the first Honda Civic, takes him hard, even with a crappy launch. He then runs a Turboed Hatch that had been talking quite the shit on another site I belong to, beat him two or three times before all the Honda guys stormed out in an angry fashion. Then the guy I was riding with in the Z28 ran the VR4. Gave the VR4 about a car and a quarter head start, walked him down, and beat him by about 2-2.5 lengths. Then we get a call that cops were on the way, so we bugged out.

All in all, not a night for Cassie because she only got one race, but a good night overall, real fun, and I met some cool guys that I can chill with next time I'm out. Also...and I'm serious this time...depending on the info I get on E46psi...Cassie may be sitting and waiting for a very nice upgrade next weekend. I got an awesome offer for a nifty new toy that I might just pick up.

While I appreciate the thought of the V8 car killing the Honda, it isn't all that. In real life, seldom to 4- or 6-cyl cars have a ghost of a chance against a well prepared V8 car. It's only in movies that an Acura can run down a Hemi Charger... And when they DO have a chance, it comes in the form of pressurization and/or horsepower in a bottle. Put the same goodies on the V8 and step back! (just venting...)

When I first read that i got like pissed off cause I drive an import! then i was gonna flame ya but i couldnt think of anything witty...then i got hungry....went out for Quiznos, got back and the page is still open. Im not pissed cause I ate so Im happy now!

I guess Drag racing few imports can stand up to good ol yank veights. But Imports make much better overall sports cars.

Cassies Im jelous! the only cool people I ever run into have slow cars, the fast guys are assholes, the chicks are underaged and the WWII veteran is still pissed off about Pearl Harbor and taking it out on the poor imports!

Just a litle update, Cassies isn't getting the new toy. I was doing some research on what I would need to do, and even though itself was cheap, the support stuff that would have gone into it would not have been. For those wondering, I was gonna pick up a NX wet kit, 75 shot, for sixty bucks, not including the bottle.

Still.. $60 for the kit & bottle, normally that's like a $500-600 thing right? It'd still be cheaper if you had to buy a few other deals.

It's still cheap horsepower.

No bottle, just the lines, solenoids, stuff like that. Still would need to buy an activation switch and what not, and get a bottle, the guy I was gonna buy it from said I could use his bottle until I got my own. I just can't find a place near by to dyno tune and wht not, don't wanna fry my engine. I only have 3k left on my warrenty, and even then...I'm not sure I can shell out the cash for my new motor. I think I might pick up the kit anyways, if I get another more performance oriented car, that would be nice to have a little spray on tap, lol.

I was gonna go out Saturday, but my one precursor was I wouldn't go out if someone else bought the booze. Around 8pm, someone knocked on my door, turns out our sweetheart went out and bought every senior in our house a 12pack of Bud Select and a pint of our favorite hard stuff. Imagine my excitement to see a free 12 pack of beer and a pint of Jose just chillin there. By 930...I was in no condition to stand up, let alone drive to Como and race.

I agree with ya there. We told him he might, MIGHT, have the capability for high 12s, mid 13s with a perfect launch and run. The race with him and the Z28 was real close though.
