adding speakers in the escort

I would like to replace the factory speakers with some pionieer 6x9 That I have. Looks like i may have to take some of the interior and the rear deck out. Is this correct?

You will have to take the door panels off for the front speakers. I'd use the existing setup you now have to mount the speakers. The rear speakers are underneath the back shelf and can be accessed from in the trunk. Let us know how you did. I'm looking to repace the tinny factory speakers myself.

I looked quickly and seems there are covers cups on the speakers proberbly come out though will have to have a better look at them.
