Iwanna Iwata ... help me choose between three models

Background: I've never really used an airbrush before. I've used a $20 badger single action external mix, but that hardly counts. But I'm willing to learn, and have done about 10 models with spray cans at the moment.

What I want: A versatile air brush. Something that I can learn with, but can also be used in more advanced applications. Something that's quality. My primary usage will be for car bodies. Secondary usage will be interior parts. Anything after that will be a perk, although I can see myself doing engine blocks, etc. I might even some day try doing freehand two-tone body sprays with a fade from one to the next.

What I'm considering:
1) Iwata Revolution CR
2) Iwata Eclipse HP-BCS (bottom feed for bigger jobs)
3) Iwata Eclipse HP-CS

These seem to be the most common. Is there a significant advantage with any of these?

HP-CS: I feel good, can't do a comparation, I know only mine.

It's good for details (well not hair-style lines ;) ) and also for body shells, have a steel quality appeal, it's reliable.

Only I would have a better packaging, but you can't have all: a great AB for 120 bucks on a shitty paper packaging or a crappy AB on a fabulos wooden box? ;)

If you are on a budget and only want to make Body, the CR is really nice.

If you have a bit more money and really want to do some detail work and body, the CS is the way to go.

If you want complete control.. well I choose the HP-CP.

After owning both style, I now hate bottom feed airbrush and will never go back.

The CS look to be your best bet. Iwata is the way to go. I had a Badger Anthem before, and you can't compare quality and feeling

Don't forget to keep the fabulous Iwata Cobra Hose: it's magnificent and also really functional compared a nylon hose.

Gravity feed all the way. I own an HP-BS (smaller paint cup) and love it. I prefer the smaller cup, but it's the same internals as the HP-CS.

I have the HP-C+ (same brush as Vric, I guess) and am very happy. Does it all, even down to VERy fine lines. Has great paint flow regulating features too.

Since Gio paints so well, his airbrush is also obviously a good choice :D

I have a CR and love it, no complaints what so ever. I think its all you really need for car modelling but if you do military as well then you might want to consider a better model for control.

The best place for buying airbrushes IMO is http://www.dixieart.com excellent prices and I have bought on two occassions and have been very pleased.

If you are outside USA, a guy called roger.wong on ebay is your best bet for Iwata product.

He saved me a good $60 when I ordered my HP-C Plus vs Dixiearts. A nice guy.

Why would I have to consider the HP-C+ if I want to shoot lacquer?

Vric, I'm in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (I know you know that's Canada, I'm just saying Canada for the benifit of our American friends). I've found Ebay sellers in Canada that are selling the HP-CS for similar prices to dixieart or airbrush-depot's online prices. But thanks for the tip anyway. I'll have to get in touch with him if the Ebay stuff falls through... ie seller isn't selling them anymore.
