Great looking car, one of my favorite models. Is this the Tamiya or Hasegawa version?

Beautiful decal and finish.

Superb!

Looks like the Tamiya one to me, very well finished, not many people spot the fact that it had a red interior and you also did well to remove the side moulding which was obviously difficult. I think the side moulding returned in 1986 along with different, larger diameter wheels in a bid to keep it competitive before the M3 arrived in 1987.

That really looks good, great finish too. I love the livery of these cars. Welcome to AF also.

Thanks for support. It is a Tamiya version (I still have an unbuild Fujimi version on hand) and in fact I am a poor bulider compared with every big brother in AF.

Grat execution of this kit. The decals must have been a real pain. So congrats and welcome to AF!

Great work. I remember buying one of these years ago as a Father's Day gift for dad, then built it myself :iceslolan :iceslolan Not as nice as your though! I recently picked up the RooDecals Jim Richards JPS decals for the BMW 635, so that is now on my 'to do' list. Again, excellent model.

Mr.Postie. Would you mind tell me where can I purchase the "JPS" decal since I have known it before but I do not know where can buy. Thanks

Looks like a terrific build- very nice work. I've always loved the styling of the old 6, and this scheme on it in particular (reminds me that I should finish mine!). Any chance of some more pics in stronger light (maybe sunlight)?

What's this about a red interior? I had no idea of this. Where did you find this out?

In 1984 Macau GP, I had a chance to see the real BMW 635csi and I found the interior is red but not black.

Amazing build, i like it a whole lot! Sunlight pics would be awesome, although, like it is now, you made me think to buy that kit!

I bought the JPS decals from a shop here in Melbourne called Victorian Hobby Centre. I believe they bought the remaining stock when RooDecals closed down. I do not know whether they have any more, but I could check one lunchtime this week at work.

Cheers,
Grant.

Thanks. Do they sell decal out of your country since I am in Hong Kong.:grinno:
