Thought Metro Was Dead

I have a slightly used metro 1.0l with only 216,000 miles on it.
After using no oil between 3000 mile changes it suddenly went down two quarts in a week. I figured its time had come but on a bet I changed the PCV valve as it was old but oil still dropped.
Again looked at PCV and found hose from PCV to air cleaner was clogged with goop. Cleaned the hose and now just hit 3000 miles and down about 1/8 inch on stick.
Guess the old girl still has some life in it! I'm shooting for 300,000.
