My 96 Jimmy has 94,000 and has been running fine. The last couple of days its been getting harder to start when the car has been sitting overnight and its getting worse. Today I had to turn the key to start three times before it would fire up. The battery seems fine.

Please help.

I've read several posts on this site that had to do with fuel pressure (or lack of). Many of the posters said that adequate fuel pressure was critical to the vehicle starting. Search on fuel pump and or fuel pressure and see if that helps.

Please help. My 95 did the same exact thing i changed the fuel pump and fixed it. what sucks for you is the difference in mine and your pump is 200 extra dollars. good luck.

My 96 did the same thing. it was the fuel pump. I found one on Ebay for like 175 shipped. It was ACDelco as well. Drain your tank and be carefull with all the connections on the pump and the little vent piece up front that isn't in any manuals that everyone breaks thier first time dropping the tank.
