A) is there any frame damage...that is a huge factor to consider
B) what all needs to be replaced, ie, is hte engine screwed up?
C) are you fixing it yourself, or do you plan to pay somebody? I know you said you have friends with shops, but I was just curious if fixing this was within your mechanical ability.

If it were me, and I could get that car really cheap, I would then start looking for a vr4 front clip. You could use any parts off the vr4 front clip, PLUS, you could do the TT conversion. 2 birds...1 stone :grinyes:

Yeah, as long as there is no frame or engine damage it wouldn't be a bad buy since it looks like it would only need a new front clip, fenders, and hood.

from the pictures it looks as if you'll need a new drivers front fender, front bumper, headlights, turn signals, crash bars, .....and the front part of the frame has been removed! it attaches at the edges just outside the radiator.

i dunno, it looks like it probably has frame damage. that's probably the reason it has been sitting there, b/c its not driveable. BUT, you can try to get the frame aligned back within spec. but to find those frame pieces you'll have to go to a junkyard. if you're friend has all the tools, and you can get it for UNDER $2k, then it MIGHT be worth it.

all the work is within my capabillities i have been working on cars for about 5 years now including body work. i have done my eclipse conversion to a turbo and also my friends 420a to 4g63 conversion so nothing is out of the question
i have been told that the frame is not bent and the motor runs just has been sitting for about a year and needs basic maintance to get running again besides the radiator needing a new support/ headlight buckets. all in all i am just not sure if it will be worth me fixing for now to have a new daily driver and i am thinking about parts from around 600+ if i get all from junkyard 2500+ if i buy brand new and do a 99 conversion at the same time
