02 taurus dashlights

02 taurus dashlights went out and all of the fuses are good now what? if someone has any suggestions let me know

Headlight switch? Dimmer switch?

Are you sure that the dimmer switch is not turned all the way?

the dimmer switch has been checked. and the headlight switch has been checked

Since a meter or test light has been used to test the switches to make sure you have power going to the light sockets, that would leave only the ground connections to be checked.

By dash lights do you mean only the instrument cluster, or is the switch backlighting for the climate control and radio as well as the radio display also dim?

It is only the instrument cluster light that went out. tonight it came back on.

There have been a few threads in this forum related to issues with the flex cable in the instrument cluster going bad. You may want to search the forum for more details and potential fixes.
