Hello
I just bought another jeep after someone T-boned me right in my side to doors bend the frame and knocking my driveshaft to the other side of the jeep and pulled a wheel of the lug nut are still on the hub.
anyway down to the problem
I have a problem with my 88 Jeep Cherokee, It's my electrical system here is a list of things that don't work
AC/Heat
Radio
Break lights
Head lights
Turn singles
front and back wipers
Is it a short? If so, where should I look?

Have you checked the fuses yet? First check them and if they're blown then replace them with the correct size fuse for the device and see if they automatically blow or not and have a few extra fuses available. If they don't blow right away try turning on the headlights or hitting the brake or something and see if they blow then if they do then replace the fuse and disconnect the wiring from the bulb and try again if it still blows the fuse then there is a short in the wiring between the fuse panel and whatever it was you tested. Do this and let us know what happens.

Hey...sorry to hear about the old Jeep, what year was the old one?
Anyway, here is a link where I left some diagrams you can download and look at:
http://www.lp2aenergy.com/PDF/88XJ/
They will be up there for a week.
Sounds like a dash area harness problem though, I would take the instrument pack out and look back there.
