Are you 180 out on your timing? Check to make sure the distributor is installed as it was removed. Are you getting spark and fire? Write us back and let us know what you have and have not checked.

i have spark at plugs. i did not take the dist. out. so i dont think its out of time but i will check. someone told me that i might need to switch the intake from the 99 blaser to the old 97 one? is there any diference in them ? all the plugs went together fine. thanks

You might need to use your old injectors to be compatible with your computer.

Sorry I diddn't get back to you , I forgot to bookmark your thread. I see you have another one going now anyway. I would check the fuel filter first, then basic tune-up stuff, plugs, dist. cap & rotor, spark plug wires. Your injectors might need a good cleaning. If you haven't ever done it and there is some miles on them I would take it to a shop.

this thing runs bad. it sounds like it hiting on 2 cyl at once sometimes. has no power sounds like it backfires in the catilitc converter sometimes. any one want a cheap truck?

What did they say at the shop, when you had your injectors cleaned? I'm trying to chase down a idle problem in my 98 C1500 4.3l M/T. Idles high after warm when driving until I come to a stop, then after about 10 secs. it drops down.

Your problem is likely a dirty IAC stepper motor. Remove it, disassemble it, clean it, and lubricate the pintle shaft before assembly.

If you connected a newer style (peak/hold) injector pod to an older (saturated injector) PCM, there is a remote possibility of damage to the injector drivers. There is also a possibiliy that your plugs were fuel fouled in the process. I'd pull the plugs and look for a rich condition.
