what the hell

i'm trying to replace the mass air flow sensor on a 1.8l '00 but the stupid four bolts just spin and spin and spin. if someone has a suggestion on stopping those stupid metal pieces from spinning please do not hesitate to suggest something.

1. make sure you have the right bolts
2. make sure the MAF is facing the correct direction
3. make sure that the threaded nuts in the airbox arent stripped
4. find bolts that do fit.

okay well actually i got them out. but what the problem was the little square pieces, so the screw had some where to go, but those square pieces would just turn as i was trying to unscrew the bolts. so i got a c-clamp to clamp down the sides so the square pieces couldn't move
