Two front tires were fucked in the ass...had a belt showing on one of them because the *dealer* I got the car at decided to mess up the alignment. Dumb problem, but it cost me $225 in tires.

For some reason, my hatch started leaking a little the other day....not horrible, but damnit it's pissing me off.

AND...my cd player is about to shit the bed. It only reads CD's when it wants lol.

Nothing quite as drastic as some of you turbo guys, but N/A DSM's got problems too haha.

turbo's about to Die, White smoke, Oil in the intercooler pipes, the works... Guess it's not that bad... HELLO 60 trim! :smokin:

My mechanic keep order a wrong one ( I hope he mention, it a Talon TSI ), I went advant auto part and order one myselft. It should be here by tomorrow. But I just want to know another place online, incase my come wrong tomorrow. Thanks.

Bent valves

1g Eclipse:
IAC went bad
Timing belt snapped

Laser:
Oil pan gasket
Heater core leaked
Fried 3 alternators
Busted power steering pump
Bad vacuum leak
Coolant leak
etc...

Most of the problems are fixed though, except the Eclipse stuff. It's now a donor for the Laser. Does anybody else here have a turbo Laser?

Battery tie down welded itself to.. itself lol... I can't loosen it off my battery. Ceiling carpet is sagging, dome light falls out of place occasionally, craaaaazy lifter tick, power steering belt always seems to eat itself until it snaps off and I can't seem to get hot girls in my car anymore, haha, they like the rotary for some reason.

i think i have a leaky head gasket, sometimes when i start it i see a lot of blue smoke,never under boost.

broke the accessory belt and some other magic problem that doesn't allow the car to run.

Tie rod is shot, gas cover doesn't pop open, pulls to right, clutch is annoyingly low grab, sunroof sometimes leaks when it rains.

the only problem i have is i always want something else and i dont have the money for it other wise its pretty nice just needs to run 10s and be daily drivin.

its funny, ever since i sold my DSM's i've made money, even with buying the new car i still have money in the bank...

Tada time for my broke ass ride list. In the 6 months I have owned the car the following broke much of which is fixes.

4 tires went bad in 1 month so new Yokohamas.
ISC took a shit and died so new one.
Exhaust manifold gasket was fried.
Valve cover gasket leaking.
Driver door handle broke.
Sunroof making aweful noise when driving.
Front right axle broke.
Brakes all started squiking so new brakes.
EGR whatvever broke so it was in a shop for a while.
New spark plugs and wires since yesterday (NGKs of course) since spark was jumping wires were old and plugs were destryed.
And some damn noise that wont go away when I have headlights or brake lights on it keeps beeping and driving me crazy.

Thats about all the stuff I had to fix in 6 months time. Do I regret buying the car ? , fuck no. :) I love to see the face of people when I burn off the line and they always go " damn bro , what do you have under the hood ? I always say, lots of problems.

DSM = Dollar Sucking Machine. i wish my list is as short as yours.

well, I'm new here... but there was an existing list when I bought the car...
cracked valve cover (leaks like a bitch)
slightly leaking manifold
rough idle (can't find... tested everything)
broken motor mount (side mount, broke, other's just worn)
4 Maypop Tires
bent stock rims
blown stage III clutch
clutch pedal out of adjustment
flexing rubber intercooler hoses (popped within a week)
broken driver's power window
I could go on, but that's the biggest things...

remember back then, when I about to buy my talon, I let u guy saw a clip video of my car ? and most of you guy told me I have exhault leak. Well after couple month I believe u guy, 3 fucking bolt that in my exhault manifold broke, that why I loose so fucking power. my mechanic fix my car, new clutch master cyclinder and new exhault manifold gasket and couple new bolt, now my car run and pull harder then before I love it.:wink:

BTW: I washing my car now, and ready to dry and it fucking rains :frown: ( yes I do washing my car in the middle of the night, im ready go to spot.)

I won't even bother listing everything I've done to my car in the last 6 months. I don't have the time or the patience to type it all out right now. As for *Current* issues with the beast; List as follows.

** While doing 255hp I messed the float up, so it never drops past 1/4 tank. Lucky enough the fuel light actually works..
** Rear hatch struts are starting to go bad, as well as the rear hatch lock doesn't like to work a lot.
** Rear power antenna is permanently in the up position.
** 2 of my 4 struts are blown.
** Rear shaft seal connecting my drive shaft to the rear end is leaking.. I need to fix that soon..
** ABS module is going out, vibrates like a Chinese hooker when I start the car up.
** Sunroof broke early this spring, had to take it apart to get it closed..
** HVAC lights are not functional due to my PLX hole cutting.
** Boost pressure sender for my Meth Injection failed. Good think I coughed it during a boost leak down test. Actually ordered a new one today..
** Brakes are going bad (changing tonight)
** Turbo's grenaded (using friends, but installing EvoIII tonight)
** Getting bored, couple other little things...

my car is stuttering like hell once i give it alot of gas and around 10+ psi....and overall i have power loss, i can feel it!

brakes vibrate on highway even after new pads and rotors

weird ticking noise i always had(you all know that one)

lawnmower sound if i turn my heat/ac/air on past the first notch(real loud)

leaky sunroof

tirerod bad on drivers side after i just spent money to fix the passenger side one

both door handles snapped off(went to ebay $35 for both and 1 1/2 hours to put them in)real pain in the ass

rear hatch sticks have to turn key and pull up at same time

evap solinoid cell p1494 thats has been on for at least a year...cant seem to fix it

i did need it, it was all good though... it made me mad, but now that i think about it *and after talking with him* it has been a good laugh... he was like "you should have seen your face, Wish i had a picture of that shit" so... eh... didnt hurt anything... and it was pretty funny... i guess, cept i dont like people (not even my dad) messing with my car when i'm not watching...i'm anal...

My gauges are all off, tach 700rpm, speedo ~30mph, gas full all the time, boost - ok but useless anyway, temp off by a notch, oil doesn't move. I know how to fix them it's just one of those things that's not necessary so it doesn't get done...

not sure yet. i just replaced the slave 2 or 3 weeks ago. and i noticed i had to rejuice it every week. well last night i put some fluid in, got in the car and there is little to no fluid tonight so i had to refill

car went down as of last night... it got a little heated... coolant light came on... and the car began smoking like a freight train...

turns out a heater hose busted... easy fix, thank God

not sure yet. i just replaced the slave 2 or 3 weeks ago. and i noticed i had to rejuice it every week. well last night i put some fluid in, got in the car and there is little to no fluid tonight so i had to refill

check underneath the dash, if there's fluid there; you'll need to replace the master... if not that, check the lines, there may be a hole in one of them

I could tell ya how to fix that if you'd like ;)

Well I run into another problem ( I guess ), I just fix my TB shaft seal ( I have all the part like 3 week ago), I start yesterday and finish tonight. I take my car run for the first time, it run strong ass hell, but idle at 1.5k, after 10 min boosting, I drove home, pop the hood, shit I forgot plug the TB sensor :banghead: . I plug it and now my car idle at 1k, it usually idle at 8.5. is 1k idle is normal ?

I'm not sure it will help, but reset the ECU... the computer has already started making adjustments for that sensor not functioning... so reset the ECU, it will use default values and alter them to match, now that the sensor is working...

My car idle problem again, I unplug the TB and it idle perfect, I guess I intall the TB wrong way ( I think there is 2 different way that you can crew it in ), BTW I did replace 2 new hose ( that running from TB , coolant I guess ), I make those hose kinda little bit longer then factory, can that cause my idle problem ? .

Is the idle stable, or is it revving/dropping?
You may want to try and adjust the BISS screw, there's a VFAQ for that...

before I unplug the TB, the car rev and droping by it self ( like 1.5k to 1k ), unplug the TB and adjust the biss, it back to normal. But I dont want the check engine light .
