Ok, so I was just gonna see how many of you guys have these issues. None are a big problem to me, they are just little things that bother the hell outa me. 1. My windows are incredibly slowwwwwwww, I get into other people cars and I have officially forgotten how fast windows SHOULD go up! :banghead:

2. When I turn off the car from the started state, pretty much 8/10 times the key gets locked in and I have to reach up under the stearing column and hit that tiny little release thing... im really happy I figured that little trick out. haha just a lil thread for the hell of it.

I drive a gtp... if that matters

I see you have a '98 GTP. For the '98 model there is a key release solenoid in the steering column that gets flaky. When you hit that release you are overriding it. The key release solenoid gets a signal from the shifter's shift interlock solenoid. So it is 50/50. If you have ever spilled coffee or soda in the center console area the I would start at the shifter by removing and cleaning it up.

On the power windows you'll need to remove the door panel and perform a lubrication of the track and Bowden cable system. Let me know if you need a tech procedure.

yeah, I bought this bad boy used about 4 months ago. LOVE the car, I need to get some pics up cuz I bet you guys would like it too. Yea, somebody prolly messed up that keylock up for me, but I can live with that. A procedure would be great, im good with figuring stuff out but details can never hurt.

Yup, you either love them or hate them. I bought mine new and now going on well over 8 years of ownership.

Here is a tech procedure for the power windows. Good luck.
