:( dude what are you doing? well if up and down and side to side is what you want its not that pricey if you know the right people. i went threw the whole low rider thing about 6 years ago and man its nuthin but head aches.if you want lifts on yer ride thers alot of cutting and welding to do and when the shi hits the fan boy does it suck. oil all over your trunk batterys pumps/not to mention that if the positive cable comes loos (and it will) it can melt right threw to your gas tank(BOOM/ it happened to my friend) oh yeah and you cant haul ass any more with those extra 700 lbs you just putt on your ride. bottom line hydros suck/leave the jumping to the six 4 impallas....as 4 air bags or air cylinders ther alright i guess if you must. go with air cylinders ther a nicer setup and plus when bags are fully deflated they expand and might rub against the inside of your wheel.but that depends on the size of the bag. i must admit the thought did cross my mind.it is verry cool getting to the in and out burger when its packed with hunnys and just slamin your ride all the way down to the floor with a loud pppssssshhhhhhhhhhh! boy do heads turn..hydros price varry from 800.00 all the way to 5000.00 depending on how many batteries and pumps and what u want the car to do/same with air rides the price goes from 800.00 to 6000.00 depending on pretty much the same.... any questions just ask me my homie does that shit for a living L8R BRO

wat kinda stuff will i have to have in my car to get the air ride? how much it weigh? would they be a bad thing to have in the winter? will they freeze up or anything like that? the reason i am wanting is because i am planning to get a body kit and i want to get the car dropped, but the roads around here have big ass pot holes in them and whenever it snows the roads get destroyed pretty much every year. i was thinkin about coilovers so i can raise and lower, but i think that they r a pain.

thnx

remember also that if you are guna have it slam to the ground with hydros or an air ride, have the person installing the system to give you some ground clearance when fully slamed because if u ever bust an o ring or a bag your car is guna slam all the way down ,so leave some ground clearance. if you go with coilovers get the ground controll or if you realy want sumthin nice get the cattman coil overs. ps the air ride is pretty heavy its like racing with aunt bertha in the car.

300-400 lbs maybe? if i do go with this, im not gonna bother doing anything to the engine sept like a CAI and underdriver pully and jus stuff like that, and jus go all out on the body. how long it take to put an air ride in? it take a lot of work on the frame to put in? will the bags bust easy, or if they get too cold will they tear or bust? u kno any sites online that sells air ride systems?

Air or hydro is a big no no for those that want to be fast. If you want some comfort get air. It will cost you a little more but you will be much better off. I would say that you should spend somewhere around 1200-1500 for a good setup that you won't have to worry about reliability. they are actually not to difficult but they do take some time. depending on how elaborate you want to get will depend on price and weight. you need to decide what all you want 1st. what you will need to do is put rubber stops in to keep from sitting on the ground. personally if I was doing it I would want to be able to sit on the ground. but that is me. I have done some research so let me know if you have any questions.
