Hello all

Have got the Tamiya new released item - 1/24 Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren and I do not hesitate to start this project

Here are some update pics:

Have sprayed a layer of grey primer for the checking body

1. sanding mould lines - mainly found on the frout bumper and the monoque, not much mould lines were found on other panels
2. some holes filled with putty

3. brake disc painted, seats painted and need masking for seat-back colour

Putty were sanded down and sprayed another coat of primer

Some more update last night:

1. Monoque and other panels had been paints in Finisher's Pure black

2. Followed by clear coat last night

That's excatly how I want to build my SLR :grinyes:. Actually I don't like the car really much but it looks damn good in black. You did a great job so far! I am also curious to know what clear you used, Finisher's GP1/GP2??
