First off, let me say hello. I have been browsing this board for some time, and picking up alot of usefull building tips and ideas ;) . I do regreat that I have no digital camera to show pics of the stuff I have done. I had started putting together Revell/Monogram kits, and have recently started doing some Tamiya's. I also like to build the models in 3D on the PC in programs like 3DMax. Although I can't show you pics of the actual models, I will show some of the stuff that I turned into a model on the PC (Hope this does not offend any one here).
Honda Civic Sir II (Fujimi)

Corvette C5-R (Revell)
http://rpcg.m4driving.sm/VettC5.jpg
Ford Focus Rally Car (Fujimi or Tamiya, can't remember)
http://rpcg.m4driving.sm/Focus.jpg
Opel Astra DTM V8 (Tamiya I believe as well)
http://rpcg.m4driving.sm/Opel1.jpg
I have done more, these are just to show a few of them. Now, here is a problem that I have. I can not seam to find a Skyline model where around I live. Half of the shop owners don't even know what one looks like. I am hoping I could ask someone a favor.. If someone that has built a R33 Skyline, and has the technical blueprints that come with the model, would they be willing to share? I have seen a few people obtain stuff like this before from here, thats why I ask. Hope this post offends no one here, and when I get a digital camera, I'll show pics of all my models:) . Later...

Welcome! :)
Take a look at Hobby Search (http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/plamo/)'s online catalog. They often provide scans of the instruction sheets. :D

Welcome to AF. :)
Great car shapes you have done.
I also used to do some similar work some years ago with Autodesk 3D Studio 3.
I've created some Formula 1 models and the Estoril race track.

Welcome.
I love the 3D stuff, think its amazing. How is it done and is it quite easy to learn?

Thanks for the comments guys. I had tried hobby search, an they seam to have alot of R32's. I just can't seam to find an R33.
@flyonthewall, learning was the hard part for me because I like to jump right in with things. Once I learned to FOLLOW the instructions or tutorials, it got a bit easier. Its like painting your first model, tons of thing you could and should have done ;) .
@ Forhod, ya they have and will see a variety of games for the PC. Games like NFS 3+4, SCGT, 4X4 Evolution 1+2, and Racer. I do not have GTA3, but have given a car to be put in there by someone else.
Thanks.:sun:

Well, you can use 3D studio max, Maya, and Zmodeler (free) just to name a few. I like to use Zmodeler because its free, and quite a powerfull little program. It doesn't stack up to the others in overall functions, but is very usable. When its time for the skin, I use Paint Shop Pro and a hell of alot of cut and paste. I have only been doing it for about a year, so I won't pretend to be an expert, but I could give you some links if you would like. I am going to the last place I know of around here to try and find a R33 Skyline. If they don't have one, I'm screwed.... And no, I do not have a credit card to order one either. Well, let me know... Later..

wow......thsoe 3-d graphics were tight. The opel looked very realistic. a carbon copy of P-man's work? That kind of stuff looks pretty difficult to me who has no patience and no artistic talent. But i'll just enjoy lookin at your pictures. good luck w/ the r33
