F150 side view mirrors

I have a 1999 F150 with manual mirrors. I have to replace one of the mirrors(or at least the glass for it). I am thinking about changing them to powered mirrors. Has anyone here ever done this? My main concern is being able to wire them without a lot of hassle and mounting the controller. Manual mirrors are a pain in the butt and I have regretted going cheap on that option from the first day of driving the truck.
