Well I got screw again, 1st time I decided to install champion plugs the engine ran great for abought a year and the engine started missing thinking no way It could have a plug problem considering I replaced the suckers not that long ago, That cost me over $400 to correct at the dealer. It seems I got screwed again 12 to 14 monthts ago I replaced the front Wheel bearing hub assembly with an aftermarket unit, well oh well it is making noise again I called the retailer where I bought it and they said tough that unit only had a 3 month warranty screwed again. Man oh man I am either having bad luck with aftermarket crap or our Intrepids only work with OEM stuff.

If you had an Intrepid it would probably be at a junk yard.

The three top hubs based on my experiences is AC Delco, Timken and BCA-Federal Mogul. Any thing else like white box or made in China versions are garbage.

Wagner supposedly also makes a wheel bearing for our cars, but ive never seen one for sale in an auto parts store, i may be buying one from a member of ClubGP fairly soon, so ill let you know how it works out.

He supposedly works for a dealership and they ordered it directly from Federal-Mogul, who owns Wagner.

How much? I can get AC Delco for around $150.00.

I believe he said they were close too, if not more than 200 bucks a pop brand new. Which is a little overpriced IMO.

I ended up just buying a used OEM unit from Ed Morad over at ClubGp for the same price, 60 bucks, plus a 90-day warranty, which isnt too bad as far as im concerned.

I've done business with Ed many times. He's a good source for any GM "W" body used parts. And you don't have to be a ClubGP member to do business with Ed. He gets more business off his parts company on EBay than any other source.

My source for OEM GM/AC Delco parts is based in Flint, MI and it looks like $150 for brand new AC Delco abs hubs is quite reasonable. :grinyes:
