28 to 31 spline axle

im getting a new differential soon and i was wondering if its worth it to upgrade to 31 spline axles, how big of a difference is it from the 28?

if you are interested at all in drag racing or strengthening the rear then yes. 31 spline will allow you to run slicks safer just make sure you go with 31 spline carrier and axles.

If your making more than 400hp, I would go 31s. Like 6speed said, for drag racing.

Nah im not plannin on makin that much any time soon so ill probly just stick with the 28 spline
