Nissan models with decent trailing arm IRS?

I'm building a Fujimi group A Calsonic R31 Skyline GTS-R, and, well, despite having some very nice parts (cage, interior tub and details, working centrebolt hubs etc), it shares the same shithouse chassis all the other R31 have.
For a streetcar I can use it, but for a racecar, no.
I'm not going to put up with the straight rod axle in the back as the racecars have quite pronounced and noticeable rear camber. Most of the floorpan and the boot floor are also wrong on the fujimi chassis, as is the moulded in live axle (1:1 cars have trailing arm IRS), but I should be able to deal with that to an extent.

The suspension setup in a HR31 skyline is basically the same old Datsun/Nissan style with a large "moustache" bar, trailing arms and long coil-over shocks, road cars also have two HICAS rams . I'm not planning to make the wheels removeable so I can get away with leaving out some detail in the wheelarch area, but really it does need something approaching the right style of diff and suspension arms, which wouldn't be difficult in the extreme to modify for some negative camber

So aside from scratchbuilding, which is increasingly likely, I'm stumped.
Any ideas on kits to purloin bits from? The Aoshima DR30 was one idea but on closer inspection its also got a solid axle with dummy IRS.

have you looked at the Q45 by fujimi? or is that the one you were just talking about? what about the Z31? tamiya makes one, I'm sure. there used to be an infinity J30 by either aoshima or fujimi, but it's been oop for some time.

Hmm, Z31.... Thats probably worth a look if its Tamiya - I'd expect fujimi's to be very rudimentary.

Fujimi's Z31 (inch-up series - late version) is a rad kit topside and interior, but it's ex-motorized, so it does not have the suspension detail you're looking for.

I've heard very good things about the Tamiya Z31, except that it's OOP, a pain to find and it's become a bit costly...

Here's half a thought, but the parts don't look quite right...

The MR layout (looks almost RR by those diagrams) means only the lowermost part is a separate piece.

mid-4 wouldn't work, it's rear-rear engine-drive configurated. I hadn't seen that particular mid-4, that looks like an SR powered ferarri!! haha

I hadn't seen that particular mid-4, that looks like an SR powered ferarri!! haha It's actually a VG30DETT twin-intercooled in a M-AWD +4WS configuration, featuring systems that served as forerunners to both ATESSA and HICAS. Unfortunately, I can't confirm if it truly had IRS, so it's probably not that helpful to the OP.

Nah the Z32, R32, Silvias (after the S110/S12 anyway) are all multilink wishbone style. HR31 and Z31 are the same rear end design as, say, a 510, but more beefed up.
I'm going to fabricate it all in styrene.
