Aston Martin DBR9 Green?

Hello all,
While I wait for my MFH 06 Le Mans kit to arrive (why, '007' of course, Mr. Bond)...

Can anyone suggest a source for the proper green for the GT1 aston Martin DBR9? I saw the real cars at the Mosport round of the ALMS yesterday, and noticed that the cars are actually lighter than I had thought. They are not the deep 'British Racing Green', but rather, a lighter metallic green with what I would describe as a 'greyish' tinge to it. Anyway, any suggestions? BTW, MCW paints and RAL paint codes need not apply as I live in Canada.
If, however, anyone can suggest the Finisher's recommended colour, that would definately be an option.

Try Leon at www.cobracolors.com he has the paint listed on his online store. I am sure he could give you the paint code so you could mix some up at your local body shop or if you know someone in the US that would be willing to ship it up to you.

I don't think it's so much about legalities as it is about a reluctance by some vendors to ship paints. And, quite frankly, we need to respect any reservations they may have: I am not out to criticize their choice.

I believe shipping paints requires special documentation when (or there may be trouble from the authorities) as paint is considered dangerous goods. Also, an overzealous customs agent, may seize the paints even with documentation because if they don't know, or care, what regulations specify, it is very easy to simply seize the parcel containing the 'offending' paint. If the package contains someone's legal, private property, that was paid for, who cares, right?: Let the vendor and the customer battle it out.

Many vendors simply prefer to avoid any such potential problems altogether.
Others, instead, don't have an issue with shipping paint.

It is very much not legal to ship pressurized cans or bottles of flammable liquids in most postal systems. Most of the packages are delivered by air which is where the problem is. These things are not good to have on aircraft. The fines can be very high.
It is also not legal to send the same paints in the USA by any type of air mail. This included priority, first class, etc.. They can be shipped by ground but there are a lot of restrictions and it must be done correctly including the labels and paperwork.
