My daughter just bought this Intrepid 1st car for her
Ran great bringing it home 1 week later registered it and went to drive and it spits and sputters hardly will stay started. Husband has replaced cam sensor and crank censor we are going out of our minds to try and fix this car what else can it be? Had it on a computer and only code we got is a P1391. Any suggestion? Thanks :banghead:

Is it losing spark or fuel?
What engine?
Double check that code no. Could it have been a 1390 code?
If a timing belt engine have a look at timing markes for a sliped belt.

Is a 3.3 or 3.5? does it miss? The 3.5 has problems with the intake gaskets that will cause a miss and most auto parts stores stock the intake gaskets. There is any easy test to find out if it is the intake gasket, spray brake clean or carb cleaner near the intake gasket area and if it changes, intake gaskets.
