Limited Slip Differential swap question

I recently found an LSD for sale, but I don't know if I can use it or not.
Can I swap a Helical Limited Slip Differential from a JDM DC5 Integra Type R into an S80 transmission from my 94 Integra LS?
I read that you can swap the LSD from the US spec Integra Type R into a Y80 GSR transmission, but that was as close as I could find.
If you have any related info on this I'd love to hear it.

Im going to give a tentative yes.
Up untill I think the last year of the old ITR all the B series boxs were the same. They just used differnt ratios between the differnt models, but things like the diff etc are all the same.
In the last year for the JDM ITR I believe the used a stronger box, which had the two shafts closer together. I think, im not totaly certian.
However if the diff and box are both post 92, and pre 98 then there should be absolutly no problem in swaping the diffs over.

The Differential is off of a 2001 model. The DC5 Integra Type R is actually a suped up RSX. I think 2001 is the first year they started making them. So by what you said, since the diff is off of a post 98 tranny, it won't fit in my 94 tranny?
EDIT: I typed 98, when I meant to type 94.
