96-98 with 200k ?

i want to buy a ’96-98 corolla. just checked dealers around me – the average mileage is 190-200+ km. i’ve never had this car before and do not know what I should expect having 200km on it. the problem also is that half of people tell me that corolla is a very reliable car up to 300km, another half tells me that even 160 km for 4 cylinders is too much…. i have a limited budget and can go up with price.

A Corolla that has been maintained well will last 300k km easily, without any major problem. Some won't, but most will.
