Apexi WS vs. Ground Controls

I soon plan on lowering my Civic and I had originally planned on using Ground Control sleeves with Koni Yellows. After doing more research I found that I could get the Apexi WS coilovers for roughly the same price. My only concern with the Apexi kit is what happens if a strut blows? Can they be rebuilt or replaced without having to buy an entire kit again? With the GCs I could buy new struts, but I wasn't sure if it could be the same way with the Apexi kit. Thanks in advance!

Im not 100% sure about this but my guess is the WS shocks could probably be rebuilt. I know the Konis can be. You will probably get a better ride out of the WS Im not sure how stiff they are so they may not give you better performance as the ground control probably would. I personally would go with the WS though. Since the springs and shocks are made to work together you dont have to worry as much about spring rates and such.
