I am really confused ... Can you explain why in the world would you want to buy a new car and then start tearing it all apart for ?

I would like to know the same thing. Slow_n_ez, you should not be confused as this a very reasonable question as there is wiring I need to get to for my wireless bluetooth phone interface so the phone will auto-mute the stereo when a call comes in.

There surely must be someone out there that knows how to get the radio out of a 2007 Sonata?

First thing you need to do to remove the radio is to remove the trim piece that goes from left to right on the dash, right below the radio. You will more than likely break a bunch of clips in the process. After that it's self explanitory.
