Ok I have got all of my wires run and the MSD 6a mounted but the only connection that is slowing me up is for the coil. On my 1.5 the Distributor has a built in coil. SO I either need to find a way to remove that from the distributor os tap into the +/- of the coil so I can finish my install.
Does anyone have any input to help me out here??
thanks for looking and I hope someone can help me...:frog:

You need MSD part #PN 8291 or 8292 (depending on which dist. you have)...It is a modified cap that allows you to connect a coil wire to it.

I have the modified cap but that cap has the hook up, but once again the coil is internal on the distributor. So I need to remove the internal coil so that dist will even fit on. that's the problem that I'm having. I have the MSD/Blaster Coils2/and MSD cap.
Hope this clears things up for futher info to help....

You have to remove the coil out of the distributer completely!
There are 2 screws holding the stock internal coil and two wires held by 2 more screws. Remove all 4 screws and use the two wires (1 being your negative and the other being your positive feeds) to connect to your MSD 6A box.
(6A box has a red and white wire that go into the modified cap.....you have to drill a small hole on the side of the cap insert the 2 wires and connect them to the wires that were originally on your internal stock coil).
Then the orange and black wires from your 6A box to the the neg. and pos feed over at the MSD Coil connections.
From your MSD coil send the Red cable provided with the kit from the coil plug to the modified cap plug.
Hope this helps
