I just started painting my interior yellow to match the car - just finished the full dash yesterday. It's going to be yellow with gunmetal accents.
The camera didn't quite get the yellow color quite right, it's not that bright in real life, but you get an idea of what it's like.

Well, the whole dash comes out in one piece, took less than an hour by myself. As far as the dash piece you are talking about, I think the 88-89 dashes are different than the 90-91, so mine may be a little different.

looks good, what brand of paint are you using?

Actually, the paint that I am using is the engine paint that you get at Schucks, it's the only paint I could find that matched - and it's working out really nice so far.

The dash actually doesn't feel much different than stock. And the red honda emblem is the stock one that comes in the steering wheel, I just painted it.

Hey 4g4d, thats real nice, i like what you have done, now off topic, i see you have a Optima Yellow Top Battery, was it tough to fit that there? of did it fit with no problems? I want a Yellow Top because i hear its the best for big Stereo Systems. Thanks!

The intake was painted with a chrome yellow paint, it turned out ok, but when I get my full cold air, it will stay silver (polished). The yellow top battery fit ok, I didn't have much problem with it, I did have to push a hose or two over an inch or so, but then it dropped right in.

Mine looks just like his.. I painted it using Cherry Red Testors model paint, by hand. It took about an hour to get it right, and used an exacto to clean up and spots I accidentally got on the silver H, but looks great.
