Testors is a US distribuor of Italeri kits. Most kits marked Italeri are in fact Italeri kits, regarless of who distributes them. Testors also used to rebox and distribute Fujimi in the US (and DML/Dragon, too?). Tamiya used to be distrubuted in the US by MRC, then Tamiya went independant and MRC picked up Fujimi. Now I think they're doing Academy. Tamiya reboxes some Italeri kits and sells them as their own in Japan. Revell Germany reboxes some Hasegawa kits and sells them in Europe (and the US). But it's not so much that Italeri is Testors or is even a part of Testors- they just have a partnership in some markets.

what do u mean and which ones? i only know Tamiya reboxed bmw 325 and 850. as for the italeri rebox, i assume its military or planes. Which Hasegawa kits are Revell reboxed?

Stuff that Tamiya reboxes are only done in limited quantities for the Japanese market- if you live elsewhere they're unavailible (unless you pay too much for them on Ebay). It's easier to find the RoG boxes of the 850 and 325 than the Tamiya. As for Revell Hasegawa reboxes, I don't have a list, I only know that they've done it. For example, the 1/24 Porsche 944 Turbo and Lancia 037 in Revell boxes are originally Hasegawa kits.

+ Corolla WRC, Focus WRC, Stratos, probably missed some though. Several are now discontinued by Revell.

R/M reboxes alot of the hasegawa kits. the VW 23 window bus is a prime example. and if I knew that, I would have not paid $36 for a lack luster box with crisp body detail, and NO other detail to speak of. man, was I disappointed.
