Hey there, im completely new to this so hello everyone :ylsuper: ... anyways the past week i have been modifing a t3/t4 turbo kit to fit onto my 02 oz lancer 2.0 single cam. i fufuse to beleive it wont fit.... lol but it hasnt been going very smooth but im almost done with all the welding and customizing. ive never turbo'd a car so i hope this all works... can anyone think of anything else that could go wrong with this whole mess... so far the manifold was wrong and didnt fit the car so i made it fit the car, the exhaust dump didnt fit so i made one fit, the turbo hit the radiator so i made a flange for the manifold to kick it away and the external wastegate hit everything so i got that out of the way. and does anyone know what this turbo will do to this engine... will it hold up and how much boost can i give to her. :iceslolan

It will hold up for sure but to a certain point. Max pressure is said to be 10 before a built bottom end, but that's on a t-25 or t-28. Make sure you upgrade your fuel and get an intercooler. 6-8pounds is what is normal for daily usage and has been able to withstand that amount (according to RRM) for 2+ years again based on the t-25 or t-28. It might also be a good idea to change out the clutch now as well to handle the extra power.

Personally I've gone turbo and i'm never going back to stock.

thanks, i have a big intercooler and have already upgraded to a bigger fuel pump, rail, and injectors. and the car came with a stage 2 or 3 clutch already in it. so far i have already taken your advice.

how much appox. horse power or what kind of a time can this little engine put out... anybody???

Max power I've seen after a swap of pistons/rods etc. etc. is 350+hp and torque. Do a search for omarboy on www.evolutionm.net

Just be carefull with turboing this engine, it really isnt that much of a perfomance engine and yea it can only handle so much. You might want to reinforce your pistons.
