Hello, I'am new to the sport of rally but I was wondering what is the Ideal or average height for a rally car?

Welcome to AF. That's an interesting question. I wonder if Freakray (wrx moderator) knows the answer to that. I've seen all types of vehicles doing rally but they're in different classes.

Well I mean like if I wanted to lower my car or if I had too what height is the average rally car so I would be able to do it.

I've run my car on gravel access roads when it was lowered but I always had to keep total attention and slow down a lot when big rocks and uneven road came up. With only a one inch drop the car would take the terrain better and I didn't have to worry so much about bottoming out. If you look at most true Rally cars the suspension is not lowered. Some Focus RS Cosworth's look lowered because it appears as though they run bigger rims. A rally car suspension is really strong and built tough. Those cars usually have tons of wheel travel and run rims and tires specifically designed for the terrain of the stage they're running.

What do you mean? Ride height? It varies depending on the surface and then is fine-tuned to reflect specific conditions. To be as fast as possible you need to be as low as possible, but other factors like the need to accompdate suspension travel, rock, etc. have a huge effect on this setting.
