i have a 86 hatch with a 1.3 carb in it and i was wondering if there is a way to convert that engine to a fuel injected. :sly:

Yes, but you might be better off buying an SI model.

Converting to FI means you will need a donor wiring harness, fuel pump, ECU and a complete intake manifold. The 1.3 head was not designed for FI so if you want to use it you will need to modify the intake runners to allow clearance for the fuel injectors. You will also need to block off the carbed fuel pump and rod.

You could also swap a complete SI head, or better yet swap in a complete D16A1 set-up from an '86-'89 Integra.

Personally, I'd keep it carbed and run either dual Weber/Mikuni's or motor cycle carbs.

Intake manifold, ECU and harness for which D-series motor? Not all D-series motors are the same.

Are you looking for a cheap replacement carb or a performance carb?
