Some quick ??? about the GSX

So I have been under the car all frikin week fixing shit. Now when its all done I noticed something yesterday. When in neutral I give it lots of gas around
4-6K it smokes a little. Now, is it because of the BOV venting ? Or can it be my turbo is burning a little oil. Also, who has Greddy Type RS in here ? Can you please count :) how many threads are showing on the spring on the bov since mine is tight, yet I think its leaking. It would be very helpful.

Are you venting to atmosphere? Anyways I have the type rs but I haven't counted how many threads. To properly "tune" your BOV boost to like ten psi then let off, if it vents properly turn it another 1/2 turn, do this until it flutters, with a choo choo choo noise, then loosen a 1/2 turn and your golden (thanks crunchy). As for the smoke man it could be a lot of things, turbo, head gasket, too rich (bigger injectors)? Can't really help too much.

What color smoke, white or blue/black?

Black. When I give it lots of gas, in about 2 seconds later black smoke from the exhaust. Turbo is a real Big 16G with about 15K miles on it.

mine did the same thing, but it was because my turbo pretty much dead. it was wasting way to much oil and black smoke would could out the exhaust. smoke would come out after i rev hard, or even after i turned the car off it would smoke black or a few secounds, thats how bad it was getting. i'm no expert, but if it's the same problem, i'd say your turbo is wasting oil or something along the line. good luck

Sounds like the turbo is blowing through a little bit of oil, but it's hard to say for sure.

Ya its probly just a little oil even my car did it when it was stock
