The thing to do with our car in Sweden right now is to put NOS in it. I donīt know how many off the quatermile running guys have put NOS in their cars but itīs a lot.
Skyline + NOS = Good or Bad????

Anyone how knows???

Yes, very good. Anytime you put N2O with a Turbo or Supercharger you basically get twice the bang for the buck, since it cools the intake charge. It will in effect lower your boost levels, but have more oxygen and increase your shot by twice the amount you shoot, so for a 50 shot its like shooting a 100. But like anything too much will make your car go BOOM. There is a fine line between optimum power, and a bad tune.

Well, these two ways to look at it. Strip and track. Something + NOS = good for 1/4 mile, bad for track. Skyline + NOS = bad. Why? Skyline is a track car, not a 1/4 mile car.

Sami,

Whats NOS, oh you mean N2O:D j/k

It would depnd on the track, if you have a decent straightaways it would really come in handy. If its just a twisty course, then sami is completely correct.

Yeah, I kinda got caught in a brain cramp. N2O of course. :)

On one lap maybe but when you're talking about multiple laps I wouldn't be sure about that. How much of N2O would you need and how much would the system weight? In track, horsepower isn't everything. Brakes, weight, brakes, reliability, brakes...

I would run the smallest shot, so your looking at around 5min of fun gas. So if its a 20 lap race, and each lap is say 2 mins long, so a total of 40 min of racing, but you only have about 15 sec of a long straight each lap, you would use 5 min of gas. Of course there are longer courses, but it will give you an advantage for at least a little while.

Mine weighs 30lbs, most of that in the rear. If its more of a pain to road race with it, I'll use it for a 393 Stroker motor to run 1/4s with. Its always nice to have options:D
