Voiding Warranty?

I had gotten a extended warranty on my 6 cyl mustang, I've been hearing tons of rumors about things voiding my warranty but I know plenty of people who have things like NOS in their car and still get the repairs from the dealership. What kind of mods will kill my warranty? I probably shouldn't even get a superchip and mess with the rev limiter/ governor.. hell, I've been heard putting on dual exhaust will void it.

It usually depends on the type of warranty.
But bolt on modifications typically dont void warranties but anything that is a modification of the fuel system, emission system or electrical power train modules will void your warranty.
Dodge on the other hand will void a warranty on a SRT Viper if you use non liscenced MOPAR part.
Wet Filter on Viper = no warranty

stealorship would have to prove your modification caused some type of mechanical failure. you cant just void a car with a faulty blown motor because some type of lowering spring was installed. i had read before any modification done before the mass air sensor and after the catalytic convertors would be fine (so, intake & exhaust)
