O2 sensor problems? any experience?

Ok, so for the past month or so i've been running my 4-1 header. I started getting a code 1 (O2 sensor problem) and that was with a new bosch sensor, this caused the car to usually die around 2000-3000 rpms now and then it got really annoying.

Week later i get a beck arnely one, problem is still there sorta but its a little better now, then i get the new catalic converter and new thermal catback, this made it a little better still. But long story short some days (espically when its humid i don't know why) the car will be between 2000-3000 rpms and i'll floor it, and for like a few seconds the engine will just bog like hell, then take off.

Top it off, three days ago it was acting up REALLY badly, but the engine light didn't come on like before, yet i checked the ECU and it was still throwing a 02 code. I reset the ECU, it was good for like a day or two then the same shit started again. Like i said its light, but really annoying and its deadly when it happens in traffic and the car can't move. ANYONE have any ideas or any similar stories to this? Or what i can do or check? Thanks a ton!

i had the same problems and i got a new o2 and the sputtering was still there. yada..yada..yada, it finally ended up being a bastard leaking injector. look around them for gas leakage. or to see if one just quit on you, unplug each injector one by one while the car is running. each time one is pulled the car will bog down. if you pull one and nothing happens...ta da...there is your trouble maker.

if you replaced the o2 sensor (twice) and you still have a problem, then my guess is it's not at the sensor. you're getting too much or too little of something else.... :right: gas maybe? :D
