Well if it isnt my luck. I wake up this morning to my car being fully ransaced. My 2500 dollar stereo unit , my 2 ipods all my personal information all stolen. I know for a fact i locked and armed the alarm but they slim jimmed the window and got in. But the alarm is so cheesy no one could hear it inside my house nor did my nieghbors.
What a nice thing to start the day off with wouldn't you say ?

Theives like them are the ones that go to ass-pounding prison when they get caught. Check the local Pawn Shops as stuff is likely to turn up there.

Already gave a police report with the serial numbers. I've totaled about 2500 dollars in loss. Along with my identity

Man that is a bummer.
If they got personal information on you keep on top of it or it may cost you a lot more.
Banks and credit card companys may be able to help you with it.
A lot of them have help on dealing with ID theft.
Hope it turns out OK.
And if you catch the thieves hang the high with a new rope.
They tell me it is sure hurts getting hung with a new rope.:grinyes:

You might want to sign up for a credit monitoring service that gives you updated and regular checks to see if anyone is up to no good. When my mortgage service "lost" about 10,000 customers information we got this for free for a year(thank goodness they found the disks they lost later) and I plan on keeping it after it expires. Cheap insurance. Folks like this are hard to catch, but we had a customer of ours 2-3 years ago catch a guy stealing what would have been about 3K worth of electrical tools out of his truck. I forget what he hit the guy with (a shovel I think) but he was out for a long time, and got a free vacation in the local jail....

The moral of the story, don't leave your personal information and valuables in your car.
Bring it into the house.

Ok insurance is covering it all. So...... Alarms. Well my car showed me how well its alarm works so i will be buying an aftermarket alarm.
I need help!.
I'm looking for an (excellent) unit. I want something that can detect if a window is broken or trying to be broken and also has a pager system. Price doesn't matter. I want something that works extremely well and is loud. Some friends have recomended the Viper System or the Autopage. Anyone else have input?
BlazerLT - One time i did and that was the last time i left it in there and that was two days ago. Thank god they didn't get it, I had 200 dollars plus an Amex Corp. Card.

Well you did say all of your personal information and Ipods.
Car restritation only gives name and add and car vin.
But Was there any personal information on the Ipods?

Yep, I like my Viper. Ask around if any one knows where someone can get a stereo like the one you had or speakers or amps that's how I found the SOB that broke into one of the cars here at my shop one time when he sold me the unit back, never know.
