4wd Vs 2wd

well.. though the 4WD has much power on a straight away, the 2WD opperates more control around the cornering.. in my opinion, what do you guys think??

Lets see.... two VR4s..... I'm going with AWD on this one in both off the line acceleration and cornering.

I'll take RWD 9 times out of 10 just for its' weight advantage over AWD, also involves the driver much more than AWD is capable of.

I would say it depends on the application. For street use, daily driver or spirited driving through the mountains, 4wd is easiest and safest.

for the extra 200-300 lbs on the street I'll take the AWD hands down. For the track..... well it just depends on what kind of track it is and how much power I am trying to put down. On a tight road course with med-high HP AWD is much better at putting the power down and launching out of the corners, and RWD is better on long streights and wide high speed turns and even some tighter turns as long as I can get traction instantly after the apex. But RWD is way more fun on most tracks since I like drifting any med-high speed turn over about 60 degrees. Not really faster but more fun. The AWD is more controled in any enviroment, but the RWD is more of a drivers car you can make it do almost anything.

I'll prefer rwd, as long as the tires got enough grip...awd not necessary... :)

I think it depends on whether you have been smoking crack, or pot.
In your case it looks like a little bit to much of the later.

Depends on what you need/want really.

I'd go AWD for most uses, i.e., daily driving and autocrossing (only racing i see myself doing). I'd get rear only if i was building a drag car or a car to show off on the weekends.
