JDM engine in a 95 metro

Ok so I have a 95 Geo Metro with the 1.3 4-cylinder engine. My original engine does NOT have the crank sensor. The new JDM engine i just recieved DOES have the crank sensor. My question is if I drop the engine into the my 95 chassis and not hook up the crank sensor will it affect the oil pump in anyway?

I want to get this swap down quickly so any information would be greatly appreciated.

Don't worry about the crank sensor on the JDM engine. Your harness doesn't have a connector, so the computer doesn't need it. The engine will run just fine without anything connected to the crank sensor.
