Keeping low beams on with high

I saw somewhere on here in a response to another question, that someone modified their truck to keep the lows on with the highs but I can't find it again.
I want to do this, I need light! Although I'm pretty proficient with electrical jobs, I don't have schematics for my truck yet. With the electronics that are on board these newer vehicles it could be quite expensive just poking around in the dark. I saw a schematic for an older truck and think I remember that all you need to do is ground a wire somewhere. But where?
Who's done it? How?
I'd also like to keep the fogs on with the high beams. How about that one?
Talking about an 04 silvy 2500HD.
Thanks

There is a company out there that makes kits to do just what you are asking, the name of the company is "Painless". If you are good at wiring it is a simple set up, using a always hot power through a relay that is turned on when the high beams are turned on then putting power to the low beams.

May not apply here, but in NYS this modification will fail the safety inspection.

I did this on my old truck and I want to do it to my new one and was thinking of it today. All you had to do was take one of the wires under the fuse box in the engine compartment and splice it to ground. But I dont remember which wire it was I'll have to look for the link again.

The 03 and up mod is actually buried in the bowels of those posts. Here's a clean link to it:
