First off, i virtually know nothing about cars so, I'd sincerely appreciate any help anyone offers...
Well, it seemed fine, then outta the blue it wouldn't start...i kept turning the ignition untill it did finnally start... but after a minute it would die. This goes on and on. The battery is obviously completly not dead... So what do you all think it is?
I was hoping it WAS the battery, and all i would have to do is replace it. I really can't afford much else... The battery is not too old, had it replaced maybe a couple of years ago. I havn't tried charging it yet...
Thanks for listening.

Well It could just not be recognizing the key(which would explain why it doesn't stay on after u finally get it to start)
Could also be the alternator(battery wouldnt charge then and as a result wouldnt start, havent heard of a car starting without jumping it though before)

Go to purchase a carburator cleaner and spray a little into the carburator ( Just a little only), then try to start the car. If it started for a couple second, and it dies, you should check the fuel pressure. I personally think you are not getting enought fuel pressure. Retail fuel pump is around $215. I bought mine on Ebay for $95 plus $10 shipping. Also I believe your vehicle has factory alarm installed, make sure you reset it otherwise, it won't start. If not sure, pull fuse #6 and #7 by the passenger door and you will know what I mean. If there is any other problem, please let us know how you are doing.
